A few other recordings with Metropole Orkest:

Laura Mvula with Metropole Orkest

Recorded at Abbey Road Studios in London in early 2014, and released in August 2014, this was a very special occasion with multi-talented singer, songwriter, composer Laura Mvula. Her music immediately appealed to me when I first heard and saw her on Dutch TV in 2013. It’s rich in textures, harmony and just so full of meaning on all kinds of levels. And oh, Laura’s singing? Amazing…I played different keys and lots of celesta on this date, even got to play the ‘Lady Madonna piano’! Metropole Orkest sounded beautiful in Studio 1 at Abbey Road. Proud to have been a part of this!!! Below is a picture of my keyboard setup.

Metropole Orkest – Perfect Vision, The Esquivel Sound

This was an exciting and technically challenging project for me, playing all of Esquivel’s transcribed piano solos…
